Refund Policy

At MetroMix, we curate professional-grade equipment for the home and workshop. We understand that purchasing high-ticket items requires confidence. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures to ensure a fair and transparent experience.

1. 30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return within this timeframe. Requests made after 30 days from the confirmed delivery date cannot be processed.

2. Eligibility & Item Condition

To qualify for a full refund, items must be returned in resalable condition. This means:

  • Original Packaging: The item must be securely packed in its original manufacturer’s box with all internal protective materials.

  • Unused Status: The item must be free from wear, scratches, or signs of use.

  • Completeness: All accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and cables must be included.

Critical Exception for Gas-Powered Equipment: Due to federal shipping safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on gas-powered equipment (mowers, generators, trimmers, etc.) once they have been fueled or oiled. If you have put gas or oil into the machine, it is considered used and non-returnable. In these cases, the product is covered strictly under the manufacturer’s warranty for repair or service.

3. The Return Process

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an active RMA will be refused at our warehouse.

  1. Request an RMA: Contact our support team at Contact@metromix.shop or call +1 (970) 456-1957. Please provide your Order ID and the reason for the return.

  2. Receive Instructions: We will review your request and provide the return shipping address and RMA number.

  3. Ship the Item: Clearly write the RMA number on the shipping label (do not write directly on the manufacturer’s box).

4. Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

  • Defective/Damaged/Wrong Item: MetroMix assumes full responsibility. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label and arrange for a replacement or full refund.

  • Standard Returns (Buyer's Remorse): If the return is due to a change of mind or ordering the wrong model, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Restocking Fee: High-ticket items (over 50 lbs) or items returned without original packaging may be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection and repackaging costs. This will be deducted from the final refund amount.

5. Freight & Heavy Item Delivery Inspection

Many of our products (Grills, Riding Mowers, Gym Equipment) ship via Freight Carrier (LTL).

  • Inspect Upon Arrival: You must inspect the package before signing the delivery receipt.

  • Visible Damage: If the box is visibly damaged, you must REFUSE the shipment or note "DAMAGED" clearly on the driver’s paperwork.

  • Concealed Damage: If you find damage after unpacking, you must report it to MetroMix within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after 48 hours for physical damage may be denied by the carrier.

6. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse team (typically within 2-3 business days of receipt), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved: The refund will be processed immediately to your original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank to post the credit to your account.
